Mobile Notary Washington Services

Do you need to notarize something, and are wondering, “What documents can a notary sign?” Most people have been there. Many notaries are often asked how they can be of service to folks. Notaries can be impartial witnesses when signing important legal documents. They verify the identity of signers and make sure that no fraud is committed during the paper’s processing.

A notary may decline to notarize documents if they are not satisfied with their accuracy. You should remember that not all legal documents need to be notarized or commissioned. Before you start looking for one, ensure you know what you need from the notary public and if they are required.

Loan Signing

It is important to have a thorough real estate closing. This will ensure that all parties are in agreement with the terms of the contract. A real estate notary can verify identity checks and help to ensure your client signs the contract where it is required. Notary services are required by home lenders, title companies, and lawyers. However, not all offices have one. They must take the time to find a notary who is available when clients are, which can make it difficult to arrange. It’s now easier than ever to find and schedule a mortgage notary.

Trust Documents

You will need to authenticate any document at some point. You might need to authenticate a power-of- attorney, a medical record, a contract, real estate documents, a bill or will, or any other document. You will need to locate a notary public to have these documents notarized. This can be time-consuming and take away from your day. It is not always possible to find a signing agent in these locations. Notary publics are also able to administer affirmations and oaths, witness signatures, certify copies and certify legal documents such as birth certificates.

Securities

Many forms and affidavits are required to be filed, regardless of whether you’re offering a structured settlement for an accident or purchasing the rights to annuity that settled an invalidity claim. Nearly all of these forms must be notarized. These documents should be completed correctly. However, the judge reviewing the settlement must verify that the agreement was signed by the person whose financial situation will be affected. This provides assurance and expedites settlements and personal injury claims

No. A Notary Public cannot answer your legal questions or provide advice about particular documents.

Documents are notarized to deter fraud. The notary (an impartial witness) ensures that the signer of the document is who
they say they are.

Each signer must present a current and valid photo ID. The identification must contain a photo, physical description, and
signature. Examples of acceptable identification are: driver’s license or state-issued identification card.

They are state-appointed officials that are authorized to act as witnesses in legal documents and agreements. They are often required to witness signatures and validate identities in order to access vital matters that affect daily life. Notary publics are able to administer affirmations and oaths, witness signatures, certify copies and certify legal documents such as birth certificates and passports.

This process will be completely remote, where both parties connect over a secure audio & video communication & conduct an electronic signing ceremony. The mandatory things include – Signers must prove their identity to the notary by scanning their US government-issued ID along with answering a few basic identification questions. Then the documents will be signed virtually with a Washington State-approved digital stamp and released to the signer post successful payment.

In-person electronic notarization (IPEN) is just like a traditional paper-based notarization with one exception: the documents being notarized are electronic. During an IPEN, the signer and Notary meet physically face-to-face, review the documents on a computer or mobile device, and use electronic signatures in place of ink signatures.
